RETHINKING RUMINATION

Anchor 1

The trio is about ruminative thinking - the process of repetitively going over the same thought or problem again and again. To "rethink" also means to repeat a certain thought, however, it always involves the attempt to change the original approach and to find another solution. So, when rethinking rumination, we try to break out of this repetitive thinking.

In the creative process, we have examined the feeling of getting stuck in our ruminative way of thinking that keeps leading us down a blind alley. At the same time, we are trying to find ways on how to break out of this circle by varying our thoughts and by switching between different intentions and dynamics.
